We have a well equipped laboratory which
enables our specialist staff to test soils and
rocks for geotechnical and material properties
and establish engineering parameters and
behaviour.

We have a variety of equipment available for use in field testing. This includes load testing, gas monitoring, hydrocarbon monitoring and dynamic probing.
 

Examples of such laboratory and field based facilities include:
A range of Sequential Extraction methods to examine contaminant soil relationships
An in house validated method for arsenic speciation in soil.
Monitoring of building/structure movement in relation to discrete wind gusts
Stage 1, 2 and 3 Mundic Testing
Assessment of Alkali Silica Reactivity
Physical Modelling of vacuum consolidation of hydraulically placed fill
Swelling of offshore Ordovician Limestone for the foundation design of offshore wind turbines
Development of specific tests to assess alkali extractable sulphate.
